Abstract (EN)
This study composed of three parts which investigates the use of religion as a political marketing tool in Kastamonu province and the effects of these factors on political participation. In the theoretical part of the study, the conceptual framework and basic dynamics of politics, political participation and political marketing and the general characteristics of religious political marketing are elaborated and emphasized. Afterwards, the theoretical approaches that explain the relation between religion and politics are emphasized and the development and basic qualities of these approaches are examined. Lastly background of this section from the historical process of the main problems periodically the relationship between religion and politics in Turkey has been questioned. The implementation part of the study targets to identify the general inclinations (tendency) and perceptions of individuals' political attitudes and behaviors in relation to the factors of religious use as a political marketing tool.
