The relation of madhab imams' with the political authority in the context of politics-law

Our study consists of two parts, the first part will examine the period in which the four great sect imâms live. This period is the Umayyad and Abbasid period. This part deals with the environment, political, cultural and social structure of the four great imâms. The second part describes the relationship between the political authority and the sect imâms which constitutes the backbone of our research. The attitudes of the imâms of the sects who witnessed many political events in the period they lived, how they behaved in the face of events, their relations with the caliph and their political stances in general terms.
