A criticism of evil in the context of politics, modernity and post-modernity: A discussion on the axis of Hannah arendt and Zygmunt Bauman

In the world, a variety of contrasts exist together. The contrast between favour and evil is one of those. In this research, the process of the notion of evil up until the reflections in the political arena is clarified by evaluating the social and individual aspects of it. Options that are influential on reflecting the evil that appears on human nature to the environment, individual factors and situational factors that are effective in the emergence of evil, the basic reflections of the aforesaid evil at the political arena were evaluated within the framework of the researches of Adorno, Milgram and Zimbardo. The origins of notion of evil which are discussed on the axis of works of Arendt and Bauman are remarked that are dealt with as individual and social through works of Arendt separately, pointed out under three main titles, and categorized through works of Bauman within the modern and post-modern distinction. Consequently, to bring the notion of evil to the political arena is happened as a result of the combination of individual and situational factors. For this reason, there cannot be any limitation on the aforehead transferring in terms of time or place. Thus, at that point, the potential insecurenesses at any point in the modern or post-modern world should not be separated from the potential insecurenesses at any other point.
