Abstract (EN)

The societies that have existed from the past to the present have been shaped within the framework of certain cultural norms and laws. With these norms, it has been tried to ensure the continuation of life, thus a system where order and stability exist instead of chaos or disorder has been aimed. However, these norms created by societies have not been able to subject all individuals of the society to the same degree in terms of equality, and for this reason, conflicts have existed in the social sphere. One of the first and most fundamental areas of conflict that exists in the social sphere is undoubtedly the conflict between women and men. Women and men are attributed certain roles due to their gender and the idea that they should behave in accordance with these roles has become dominant. Politics has also been adopted as a field of domination for men, not women. Struggles have been made for women to exist in politics and as a result of these justified struggles, they have been able to have political rights. The first issue that the study focuses on is women's struggle for political rights and the gains they have achieved afterwards. The study aims to present an example of women's representation in politics through women who have achieved a place in politics with these gains, specifically in Turkey. The study, which examines the discourses of Meral AKŞENER, the leader of the İyi Party between 2018-2023, analyzes the impact of women on the society.
