Abstract (EN)

In a democratic society, there might be some effects of the political parties on the decision making organs of the local governments, especially in municipalities. Municipalities are very open and close administration units to the effects of the poltical parties. For this reason, it is very natural for the political parties to reflect their ideologies and their ways of policy on the decisions and the activities of the local governments. Such political effects may cause some hinderings in the local services supplied by the municipalities especially if the local and the political interests are not compatible, and in the case of the party interests have the highest priority. In this study, after Indicating and explaining the administration models and the institutional dimensions of the city administration we tried to study on the decision organs of the municipalities and the factors affecting the shape of the local policies in these administration units. The main purpose of this study is to analyze how local policies would come out For this purpose we have made a questionnaire with the members of the assembly of Konya (Metropolitan Municipality, and the results of this survey have been indicated and analyzed in the tables.
