Abstract (EN)
In today's era of rapid technological advancement, digital transformation stands at the forefront of Industry 4.0, revolutionizing both personal and professional spheres. This paradigm shift is fueled by the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, smart machines, and automation. These disruptive innovations, intertwined with ongoing societal shifts, are not only reshaping our daily lives but also redefining the workplace, giving rise to novel professions and necessitating a transformation of essential skills and competencies. Human Resources (HR) management must proactively embrace these changes, developing strategies that foster learning and adaptability to optimize the current workforce and prepare for the workforce of the future. To this end, a MLR was conducted, examining emerging professions and skills/competencies arising from digital transformation. This analysis delved into the current state of the literature, revealing critical gaps to inform future research endeavors. An extensive review of 6055 studies culminated in a refined pool of 23 studies, providing valuable insights to address key research questions. Recognizing a need for a comprehensive assessment model in this domain, a model was developed by defining new professions and skills, culminating in the creation of distinct role sets and skill sets, named as Digital Transformation Human Resource Skills Assessment Model (DX-HRSAM). A five-level proficiency scale was established, and a meticulous role-skill mapping was performed for each role, resulting in a robust and insightful model. This model was subsequently subjected to expert scrutiny, leading to further refinements based on valuable feedback. A pilot study was then conducted, followed by multiple studies to validate the model's consistency and comprehensiveness. The outcome is a validated model that offers a valuable framework for understanding and navigating the evolving landscape of skills and professions in the digital age.
