An investigation of primary school teacher candidates curriculum literacy

The aim of this research is to analyze the level of curriculuım literacy of primary school teacher candidates. In this research, it was also analyzed the question "how do the difference of gender or grades of students affect the level of currıculuım literacy?" It was studied on 107 primary school teacher candidates that studying on 3rd and 4th grade students of Primary School Teaching of Education Faculty in Kastamonu University. In this research data were gained with two ways to find curriculuım literacy level of students. One of them "The Scale Of Curriculum Literacy" prepared by Bolat (2017) and a multiple choice test prepared by the researcher.The Final results in the Research was analyzed by SPSS Testan. We used the Independen Samples t Test and the Descriptive Statistic to analyz the data, also. According to the results of the scale and the test, it was found the avarage level of (primary school candidates) target students. The avarage of the first one is 115,92 and the other one is 0,79. And finally, according to the results of the reserach the Candidates of Primary School Teacher have a high level of curriculuım literacy.
