Abstract (EN)

This investigation has been carried out in 2011-2012 Academic Year with the fifth grade students of Karakeçili Atatürk Primary School who were assigned as the experiment and control groups.This research which was done with the intention of investigating the effects of classroom teachers and in-field teachers to the visual arts course in primary first stage, was evaluated by using the expert opinions within the context of experiment and control groups evaluation criteria.The results that were obtained from the research are as follows: There is considerable amount of difference between the level of total points of the experiment group students and the control group students after the experimental process, in favour of the experiment group students.There is considerable amount of difference between the criterias of efficient use of tools, style productiveness, balance and emphasis in composition, ability to use colors efficiently, using different techniques during workshops, achieving integrity in work, relevancy of the work to the related topic and ability to use pictorial items, of the experiment group students and the control group students after the experimental process, in favour of the experiment group students.According to the results obtained from this research, it can be said that in the Visual Arts Education, in-field teachers are more effective than the classroom teachers and that the in-field teachers affect the students? knowledge and skills in this field positively.
