Abstract (EN)

The aim of the research is to determine the problems faced by primary school teachers in teaching literacy through online education as a result of the changing social structure and the requirements of the 21st century, the Covid-19 Pandemic and the compulsory changes in education and the reflections of the developing technological opportunities in the field of education. The sample of the study consist of primary school teachers working at primary schools in the province: Kahramanmaraş, which was determined by the easy accessible sampling method. The research was conducted with the case study pattern of the qualitative reasearch method. Qualitative research in combination with case study design is one of the methods that can be used to gain in-depth information. Interviews done through the telephone and with audio recording were made with a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. For data analysis, the data obtained by content analysis, which is the most used in qualitative research, was examined in categories, and it was aimed to facilitate the understanding of the findings obtained with the research data. This research is important for the field literature as it is a research that will shed light on the problems experienced in teaching literacy through online education and the developments of the solutions for these problems.
