Özet (EN)

Migration is defined as the movement of population from one place to another as a concept that has been going on since the beginning of human history. Individuals or groups moving to another geography are included in the social and cultural habits of that geography. For this reason, some positive or negative effects can be seen in individuals and groups who migrate after migration. Out-migration is generally defined as a state of resettlement from one country to another under the influence of repulsive factors such as war, economic reasons, disasters, ethnic reasons and changes in borders. Türkiye, on the other hand, has been the focus of migration activity for centuries due to its geographical location, and with the Arab Spring that took place between 2010-2011 all of Syria under its influence, Turkey's humanitarian values came to the fore in March 2011, and an intense mass movement from Syria to Turkey. immigration started. In this study, it has been observed that the mass migration movements from Syria to Turkey since 2011, with the effect of the driving factors, have taken place intensively. With this research, the communal security perceptions of the individuals who migrated from Syria to the Karşıyaka neighborhood of Adıyaman Kahta district between 2011 and 2023 were measured.
