Abstract (EN)
In our studies, sodium tetrahydroborate is considered as a hydrogen carrier. In order to use hydrogen produced from alkaline sodium tetrahydroborate solutions in a practical application, some catalysts which accelerate the hydrolysis of sodium tetrahydroborate were produced and characterised. The catalysts were used to produce hydrogen gas from sodium tetrahydroborate solutions and investigated in terms of their contribution to reaction rates, efficiency and hydrogen storage capacity of the system. The data obtained in our experiments are compared with the similar results in the literature. Keywords: Sodium tetrahydroborate, hydrogen, ruthenium catalyst.
