Abstract (EN)

The CMT welding is the cold process according to the conventional MIG / MAG welding. By this method, it is possible to supply non-iron metals which1are difficult1to weld1by other methods due to1low heat1input. In the application of some metals against a continuous heat input, low temperatures are required to avoid errors such as sputtering, insufficient welding connection and pitting in the welding bath. However, it is possible1to avoid such1problems by the low heat input of the CMT method. In this study, AA 5754 and AA 6061 materials are combined with different CMT welding parameters. The tensile test, microhardness, EDS analysis, SEM and microstructure images of the materials combined with different CMT welding parameters were examined. In the study, chapter 1 was introduced. In chapter 2, properties of aluminum, classification, heat treatment applied to aluminum and precipitation hardening are described. Part 3 describes the main welding methods. Section 4 describes the source of aluminum alloys and the CMT welding process.Experimental studies are given in section 5. In section 6, there is an evaluation and conclusion section. As a result1of this study, it was understood that1AA 5754 and AA6061 material pair was combined with different CMT welding parameters and showed different microstructure properties. In1addition, the best tensile1strength was observed in the sample CMT-1128. Keywords: CMT, MIG/MAG, AA 5754, AA6061, EDS, SEM 2019, 42 pages
