Abstract (EN)

This study investigates the properties and characteristic behaviors of connection elements produced from 27MnB4, 41Cr4, and 42CrMo4 steels using the cold forming process. Cold forming significantly alters the mechanical properties of the material, affecting the strength, hardness, and deformation capacity of the produced connection elements. The research includes a detailed examination of the microstructural changes, mechanical properties (tensile, hardness, impact testing, etc.), and fatigue behavior of each steel after cold forming. Additionally, the study focuses on the response of different steel grades to the cold forming process and their applicability in connection element manufacturing. The findings provide a comparative analysis of the mechanical performance of the steels, offering guidance for optimal material selection in the design of connection elements. This work aims to contribute to the design processes of connection elements used in industrial applications such as automotive, construction, and machinery sectors.
