The ancient Kütahya houses in point of street esthetic (reinterpretation the image)

In this research, the information about the history, geographical features and urban fabric of Kütahya have been given briefly. Within the context of the research, being one of the most important civil architecture during the Ottoman period, 19 items of houses have been determined. In this research, there have been given some information about the esthetical values of the materials used on the fronts of these houses and made an examination about these architectures? immediate conditions.With in the context of the research, 19 items of houses have been chosen because of the agents of 19th and 20th centuries? civil architecture examples. The fourteen pieces of these chosen buildings were restored within the scope of virtual environment (3D Max), however, on account of the fact that the five houses amongst these chosen buildings (Şapçılar, İrvasa, Germiyan, Kurular, Vakıf Konağı) were restored nowadays, there is no necessity about the new creation and restoration in virtual environment. Besides, the street views in which these nineteen buildings are located have been commented with the gravure press technic being one of the unique press art technic. The restorations and gravure press in virtual environment of these aforesaid houses in this research have been mentioned briefly in terms of both visual and textual. In addition, the restorations executed in virtual environment and gravure press of 19 houses are situated in chapters where the topic titles take part.Forming upon these buildings, the influences about religion, traditions and culture have been revealed. From pass to present, the damages occurring on the buildings have been determined. Both the irresponsibilities against these buildings and the detrimental effects of nature cause to evanish the characteristic features of these houses incrementally.Key words: Street Aestetic, Gravure, The Ancient Kütahya Houses
