Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of different amounts of Zn-doped SiO2 coating on the surface properties of flat glass and solar glass will be examined by Sol-Gel method. Firstly, the coating solution was prepared by mixing TEOS, HMDS, Ethanol chemicals at certain rates at 450 rpm in a magnetic stirrer with the Sol-Gel method. This solution was divided into 6 equal parts and the mixing process was continued as 6 different additives as undoped, 0.1% Zn added, 0.2% Zn added, 0.3% Zn added, 0.4% Zn added and 0.5% Zn added. coating solution was obtained. Using the solutions obtained, the coating process was carried out by spraying using a spray gun from a distance of 30 cm on the solar glass and flat glass surfaces. The coated glasses were heat treated at 60oC and then subjected to contact angle analysis, FT-IR, light transmittance analysis, cross-sectional image, color measurement analysis, gloss measurement analysis. The results obtained were examined and the effect of the Zn additive and the glass type on the surface characteristics was observed.
