Abstract (EN)
Left Abdominal Displacement (LDA) is one of the most important metabolic diseases which is caused by negative energy balance during early lactation period for high milk efficient cows. The purpose of this study was to investigate the lipid mobilization and oxidative stress parameters in cows with LDA before and after the operation. In this research, cows with LDA (n=16) was divided into three groups that are before operation (pre-op LDA), immediately after the operation (post-op LDA) and 10th day after the operation (post-op 10 LDA). Control groups were formed from cows that are early lactation (n=8) and dry period (n=8). Serum TOS and MDA levels in cows with the pre-op LDA are increased compared to control groups while their TAS levels and PON1/ARES activities are decreased. Serum total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels were decreased in cattles with LDA compared to control groups while their BHBA levels, AST and GGT activities were increased. In this study, it has been concluded that in evaluating of the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of disease in dairy cows with LDA may be used of the oxidative stress parameters such as TAS, TOS and PON1/ARES together with lipid parameters.
