Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the impact of tile employees' perception of intangible cultural heritage elements value and tourism on professional commitment and devotion to work. In the study, the theoretical framework was created by scanning domestic and foreign literature on the concepts of the research. As a data collection method, the questionnaire technique was used. The universe of the study consists of employees of tile workshops operating in Kütahya province. Since the whole universe could not be reached due to constraints such as time and cost, sampling was taken and 416 tile employees were reached in this direction. In the analysis of these data; percent and frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, factor analysis, reliability analysis, T test, variance analysis (ANOVA), correlation and regression analyses were used. According to the findings of the research, it has been determined that tile employees' perceptions of cultural heritage, tourism perceptions, professional commitment and their dedication to work are high. It has been found that these perceptions of the employees vary according to some individual/demographic characteristics. In addition to this, there was a positive relationship between the intangible cultural heritage perception of the tile employees and the perception of tourism and their professional commitment and the devotion of the work. Besides, it has been determined that the intangible cultural heritage perception of tile employees positively affects professional commitment and level of dedication to work. Also, it has been concluded that tourism perceptions of employees positively affect the level of professional commitment and devotion levels. The findings obtained in the research were discussed/interpreted in accordance with the purpose of the research and suggestions (local governments, non -governmental organizations, relevant sectors and businesses, managers, employees, legislatives, etc.) were made.
