Querying, reaction, concensus,"; A field research on Elaziğ Alevi's

The Liberalism, which remains without the alternative with the end of the Cold War, forsess the new order/deception to the World. The Liberal implication forms a new power in the Globe. According to the reality of modernity-is the sources of the past ideologies-, occurs a new definition which is called as Post Modern Period. Theoratically, with the post modern and globalization theories, which prepare the substructure of the new World?s order, cultures and identities are substituted. In the World and Turkey, religious and ethnic movements, which increase in 1980s, should be evaluated as the reflection of the Global implication/expression. As the reflection of this period in Turkey, increased political Islam and Alevis, who positioning themselves against the political Islam, renew the political and historical consciousness. In this paper, concept of `Identitiy?, which is the reflection of the Neo-Liberal politcs and which is trying to impose their ideologies to the Turkish Nation and all the devoloping countries, is evaluated with the contemplation of Alevi identitiy, which is started to rise against the Islamist Movement. We utilize from the concepts of Social-Psychology and Identitiy Theories to understand the formation of Alevi Identitiy, their explanation of this; their perception of the others/ Sunnis; and their formed relationship with others. In addition, Globalization Theories are used to analyse these changes. In this paper, with the theory and methods of the sociology, field research is completed and concept of Alevism is investigated both empirically and theoratically. This research, which is done on the Elazığ Alevis as a field research, is investigated the Alevis? perception of the Sunnis? and intergorate the existing paradigm according to the `identitiy?, `the others?, ?dialog? concepts and Alevis? reaction to the current instutions and organizations; Alevis? reconciliation styles with others. Finally, this research has aimed to understand the Alevis? current social problems.
