The role of asset management companies in management of non-performing loans and their practice in Turkey

In this study; general knowledge for loans and non-performing loans, effects, background and solutions of non-performing loans and approaches for solutions of non-performing loans, appearance of asset management companies all around the world and in our country as well, policies and aims of these policies of companies, importance, types, operation modes and positive and negative aspects of companies, the factors that raise companies' effectiveness, companies' legal basis in our country, reasons for banks and other financial institutions to sell their non-performing loans or other bad assets and steps of this sellout process, steps of overall purchase and sale process of these assets for companies, reasons for companies to purchase non-performing loans or other bad assets and the types of assets that companies prefer to purchase and finally present status of assets management companies and the sector that these companies are in.
