Abstract (EN)
In this dissertation, it was aimed at investigating the relationship between middle school principals' social justice leadership behaviors, teachers' loyalty to their principals and their organizational citizenship behaviors. Correlational research method which is a type of descriptive research was utilized as the research design. Within this context, data were gathered from a total of 1025 middle school teachers who were employed at the schools located in the city center of Gaziantep province. Social Justice Leadership, Loyalty to Manager and Organizational Citizenship Behaviors Scales were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data obtained, percentages, frequencies, arithmetic averages, t-test, ANOVA, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and correlation analysis techniques were used. Furthermore, structural equation modeling was also used to reveal the mediation effect of loyalty to principal in the relationship between school principals' social justice leadership and teachers' organizational citizenship behaviors. It was found in the research that teachers' perceptions of social justice leadership and organizational citizenship behaviors were positive, but their perceptions of loyalty to principal were at a low level. There were statistically significant differences between the research variables in terms of teachers' demographic characteristics. A positive and significant relationship was detected between social justice leadership behaviors, loyalty to principal and organizational citizenship behaviors. The findings obtained from the structural equation modeling analysis demonstrated that social justice leadership was a significant predictor of organizational citizenship behaviors and loyalty to principal. It was also revealed that loyalty to principal had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between social justice leadership and organizational citizenship behaviors. It can be concluded that as it was found that social justice leadership increased both teachers' organizational citizenship behaviors and loyalty to principal, the importance of conducting research on developing school principals' social justice leadership comes to the forefront.
