Abstract (EN)
Today, as the social relationship structures grow, it is necessary for many areas to reach the basis of the problem from the general basis and to examine the social relationship structures based on definite evaluations. Social network analysis (SNA) is an effective method used in the solution of these needs through network maps. In this thesis, the relationship between people involved in crime within the scope of a specific crime is analyzed and the analysis of the position of individuals in crime is done with social network analysis method. Social network analysis helps us find the person at the center of the crime through the measurements and network maps that provides to us in the investigation of crime. In this work, a data matrix was created according to the acquaintance status of all people involved in crime by using social network analysis. The data matrix was transferred to UCINET 6 program used in social network analysis method and network maps were created after centrality measurements were made. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained, it is aimed to identify the criminals at the center and the people who have participated in the crime and who are not involved in the crime by determining the positions of the persons involved in the crime together.
