Abstract (EN)
Today, as a result of the development of the internet, the widespread and intensive use of social media has led to increased studies in the areas of social network analysis and connection prediction. The connection prediction problem, takes the graph structure, the nodes in the network and the current relationships between these nodes as a reference and searches for the answer of the question of how the network and relationships within the network will change over time. In this study, after the introduction of connection prediction in social networks, the studies in this area are emphasized. Suggested methods for connection prediction are examined. Connection prediction methods have been applied to the dataset of the connections between Turkish universities. The results obtained were evaluated and analyzed.
