Abstract (EN)
The concept of value is a multidimensional phenomenon that directs human behavior at both individual and social levels, develops over time and is addressed in various aspects. . As a result of the studies conducted in this research, it was tried to reveal which values are on the verge of disappearing and what kind of activities can be done to regain these values. In this study, action research was chosen from qualitative research methods. In the study group, criterion sampling belonging to the purposeful sampling type was chosen. The classes and students in which the study would be conducted were determined in line with criteria such as the values to be taught being at the level of these classes, the teacher teaching the relevant classes, and the parent giving permission. In Hayat Boarding Regional Secondary School, where the study will be conducted, 45 students are studying in the 5th and 6th grades. The study was conducted with 30 students within the framework of the special situations of the students and the parental permission status criteria. Determining the focus area is the first stage of action research. Document review was used to determine the focus area of this research. In almost all of the 13 studies examined, it was revealed that the values of justice, honesty, respect, responsibility and helpfulness should be taught first, that gaining these values is a human condition, and these values were accepted as values that are on the verge of disappearing in the research. While creating action plans, the achievements and values in the 2018 Social Studies Curriculum for 5th and 6th grades were taken as basis. The application started in the second week of September 2023 and was completed in the last week of May 2024. The program learning area order was taken into consideration when assigning values. Data were collected in the study with KİT, metaphor, moral dilemma study, researcher diary, student diary. The process of developing activities to gain students values that are about to disappear in the Social Studies course and collecting and analyzing the data in the study where they were applied was carried out simultaneously. As a result of the research, it was seen that the cognitive knowledge levels about the values of justice, helpfulness, honesty, responsibility and respect increased, they started to show the value in behavior, and there was an increase in the score levels that the students gave themselves after the value education. It can be said that the family contribution in value education and the value education carried out within the framework of parent-teacher-student were successful in terms of gaining values in students. As a result of the action research conducted within this framework, it was seen that it affected the students' cognitive, affective and behavioral learning about values.
