Teachers' perpective about using of historical and artistic places at social studies lesson.

The purpose of this study is to reveal the effects of the usage of historical and artistic places to the students, teachers and classes in social studies lessons referring to teachers' views and what changes it caused. what differences this activity caused for the teachers; the process of teaching and presenting the lesson, for students; understanding and participating in class, in terms of lessons; the effect that the course has done and the yield it has contributed, or in terms of certain restrictions. In other words, the research is dealt with in terms of teacher, student and lesson. The sample of the research consists of teachers of social studies working in the province of Malatya in 2015-2016 academic year. The research was carried out using the five-point Likert-type questionnaire based on the quantitative research approach. At the end of the research, it was observed that the teachers presented the lesson more effectively, and students were more willing to participate in activities related to historical and artistic spaces regardless of their academic achievements in social studies.
