Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to produce educational videos with interesting and intriguing content which make pioneer women, who played crucial parts in the national stage of history and their experiences, visible accompanied by the integrated gains of social studies classes. The research was structured on basic research type, qualitative research approach and document analysis method. Firstly, the pioneer women from history who would be represented in the content were selected, after that, historical materials were collected through the document analysis method. Six scenarios which centred around the selected pioneer women were written with the help of the collected materials. Next, the scenarios were dubbed; and videos were created in which visual and visual/written historical materials and vector animations were used. On the purpose of comprehending the video content, video analysis forms and worksheets were designed for each video individually. Since a data analysis process similar to that employed in classical document analyses cannot be applied in material development studies, the materials produced were explained in a way to guide the researchers and teachers who are to conduct similar researches. The research result has revealed that it is possible to produce educational videos with interesting and intriguing content that can be used as part of teaching women's history through the integration with social studies/history classes.
