Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study to examine the effect of imagination environment at the social science instruction for brain based learning on fifth grade primary school students? academic achievement and attitudes towards lessons. While the environment is imaginated massive utilized of the visual and audial tools, videos and power points that are part of the education technology. In the reseach, the experimental design with the pretest- finaltest control groups was used. The study was performed in 2011- 2012 academic years of Vakıfbank Ali Gaffar Okkan Primary School on 44 students educated in 5th class in the count of Keskin in Kırıkkale.5-A class with 22 students comprised the experimental group and 5-B class with 22 sudents comprised the control groups. The effect of imagination environment for brain based learning methods students? academic achievement and attitudes towards lessons were investigated in the research. At this way, the success test which was confirgured according to the expert opinions with according to the data analyzed and social studies lesson attitude criterion was used as karşılanamaması pretest after being allowed which was configured by Bünyamin Yurdakul. The experimental group was studied with brain based learning methods in the environment which imagined for brain based learning. The control group was studied with traditional learning metthods in classrooms. At the end of the process the success test and social studies lesson attitude criterion were used as aı finaltest again. Attained data were analyzed by ITEMAN and SPSS 13 package program. Mean volue, independent samples t- tests, dependent samples t test were used. According to the data obtained in the research, it is appeared that there were significant differences between the pretests and finaltest at the success test and social science attitude criterion fort he experimental group. It is cocluded that imagination environment at the social science instruction for brain based learning methods were positive effected on fifth grade primary school students? academic achievement and attitudes towards lessons. With respect to this data, some suggestions are offered as regarding the education- instruction and concerning the scientific research supposed to be performed in the future.
