Social studies politics of teacher candidates literacy conditions (İnönü University example)

The aim of this study is to determine the political literacy levels of pre-service teacher candidates and to determine the best citizenship education and political literacy transfer in the minds of prospective teachers. Firstly, a conceptual framework is formed and some definitions are given. After the theoretical part, the teacher candidates' skill levels and affective tendency scales as well as achievement tests were applied. The scales consisted of 31 items which consisted of 47 items. The data were analyzed by means of computer programs. Research results in skill levels are often discussing teacher candidates in their countries the issue of Social Studies teachers which is sometimes more than the debate that teachers, international issues often international issues of skill levels to discuss the teachers never to be more than the discussion of teacher candidates and issues and international in Turkey It is concluded that the level of political knowledge of the prospective teachers who discuss the subjects is higher than the teacher candidates who do not discuss these issues. The sample of the study consisted of 142 randomly selected students from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades in the Social Studies Program of the Social Sciences and Turkish Language Teaching Department of Malatya İnönü University in the 2018-2019 academic year. The Ok Political Literacy Questionnaire "was distributed to the candidates of Social Literacy Teacher and the results of the questionnaires were tabulated with ANOVA, KRUSKAL-WALLİS analysis results.
