Social studies teachers' views on their teaching methods and training approaches

The main objective of my reasearch is to evaluate the approaches that are used in social studies according to the views of branch teachers. In this study, it is intended to create awareness on activities that are used in lessons. In the statistical analyzes of this study data, one dimentional variation analyze and t test for ındependent groups were used. The research sample was created from 139 social studies teachers from ministry of education. According to the findings, branch teachers' teaching methods did not differ according to their gender, graduation status, year of seniority and also; opinions of teachers did not indicate meaningful differences in terms of these variables.
