Study of soci̇al studi̇es student's atti̇tude towards to the graduate level interms of some vari̇ati̇ons

This study has been done with the aim of searching of the students of the social studies' attitude towards the graduate degree in terms of some varieties. The universe of the research is constituted by students who are studying at the undergraduate level Social Studies Teacher Program in Turkey. The sample group of the survey consists of the students 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years in the Adıyaman University, Fırat University and İnönü University Faculty of Education Social Sciences Teacher Education Department. And 296 female (%47.1) students, 333 (%52.9) male students 692 student at total studying in 2014-2015 in these grades compromise the sample group. Datas about the study has been summed with the attitude scale which was developed by the searcher towards to the teaching profession.The scale has two parts,t he first part includes the personal informations and the second part includes the attitude expressions to identify candidates' of social studies teacher's attitude towards the graduate degree. Datas gained with the scale have been analyzed in computer environment with SPSS 22.0 package programme. In the first part of the scale there are frequency and percentage varience about gender, father education condition, mother information condition, family monthly income and class varieties. T-test was used in dual comparisionsfor independent groups and ANOVA (one way varient analysis) when there are more than dual variable groups to put forward the distinction of the attitudes of the students. Whether or not there is a difference between the opinions is tested with the level of p=0.05 meaningfullness. Key Words: graduate degree, students' attitude, teachery of social studies
