This study aims to evaluate social workers' awareness of occupational health and safety (OHS) and their level of awareness in this field. Occupational health and safety are systematic and scientific studies carried out to protect employees from various dangers and risks that may arise during the execution of work. With industrialization and technological developments, job diversity and working conditions change, causing employees to face more dangers and risks. These dangerous and risky situations create negative effects on the physical and mental health of employees, increase occupational diseases and work accidents, and lead to loss of life and property. Social workers are both managers and executives in various fields such as public, non- governmental organizations, private nursing homes and care centers. He also works as an employee. The aim of this study is to raise occupational health and safety awareness among social workers, to determine whether they work in a healthy and safe working environment, and to examine the statistics of occupational accidents that occur in the workplaces they work in. The research was carried out by the Ministry of Justice, Local Governments, Ministry of Health, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). ) and social workers working in private institutions. By applying a survey to the participants, information about demographic data, professional experience, OHS knowledge level, educational status and OHS practices was collected and evaluated with statistical analysis.
