Abstract (EN)
The theme of this thesis is about the searches of new global policies being developed as called Social Forums against the neo-liberal policies with the trade union movemenf.Covering four main chapters, this study examines the concept, dimensions and actors of globalization, neo-liberal policies arising in this process, alternative globalization policies, changes appering in industrial relations, global social problems, the strategies being developed by the unions and the effects of the trade union movement in the process of Social Forums as well as movement to be effected from this process. The study has been done through domestic and international literature survey.The main conclusions of this study is as follows: alternative approaches are being developed to offset the neo-lşberal policies which have being increasingly exerting their influence. The trade union movement has been developing new position and new strategies against both the changes in industrial relations and immense hugeness of global social problems. İn this critisisisms of neo-liberal policies, trade union movement are taking part in the Social Forums has a process both effecting the Social Forums and being effected from these forums attending to develope alliances and draw atttention to social problems.
