Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine exposure of social workers to client violence and the influencing factors Materials and Methods: Research Social Services Professionals Association in Turkey's 23 public institutions working in the branches of registered SW's in the province were carried out on SW 130 is a cross-sectional study. The questionnaire was collected from the participants based on self-report. The data of the study were obtained by sending the questionnaire form to the users in April-June 2018 online. The data processing and analysis phase of the study was done by means of SPSS 22.0. In the analysis of comparative findings, Chi-Square test was used. Findings: It is seen that 66,9% of the SW's are exposed to the applicant violence and 74.4% of them are witnessed. 89,9% of the SW's exposed to the applicant's violence reported verbal abuse/verbal attack. It was observed that the SW's considered the applicant violence as a typical part of his work (62,3%) and that the measures taken by the workplace management for client violence were not sufficient (80%). Result: When we look at the situation in the world, we see that there are fatal events. In order to prevent such sad events in our country, it is very important to protect the SW's and to take organizational and administrative measures.
