Abstract (EN)
The establishment of sports clubs started with modern football, and clubs started to become companies with the growing sector. Football, on the other hand, ceased to be a leisure activity and became a big-budget industrial market. By time, football, which formed its own fixed audience, continued to grow during the time it was played. One person's emotional bond with sports clubs made him a fan of the club; The transformation of this relationship into addiction made him a fanatic. Insulting the others, which is one of the defining features of fanatic identity owners, reveals the justification of the concept of favoritism in the group in social identity theory. This study aims to evaluate the concept of fanaticism and fanatic identity together with social identity theory, to reveal the influence direction of the fanatic identity and the variables of education level and income by addressing the causes of social media behaviors of fanatics. For this purpose, the research was carried out by applying the in-depth interview technique with thirty participants selected by deliberate sampling. The results obtained from this research show that there is a negative correlation between education level and fanatic identity and the effect level of income level is not high; It shows that the main purpose of the social media behaviors of the fanatics about their favorite team is to support their team, but they also use it as a means of superiority over others.
