Individual experiences on space have been separated to three different stages as before, during and after. It is considered how individuals use social media before going to a place for exchange program and what they share during the experience and whether what they have shared during this time is decisive in their interaction with the place later on. Space, as the major concept of thesis, has been described as a field in which daily activities are carried out and social interactions are formed, take its meaning from social patterns as well as encompasses subjective experiences of individuals.
