Abstract (EN)
The emergence of a knowledge-intensive economy, experts have begun to deal more closely with knowledge creation and sharing issues in organizations. Organizations, which effectively create and share information, are more successful and efficient in the global competitive environment. However, in every step of creating information in the organization is a time-consuming and complex process. In this process, there is a strong influence with social networks and interpersonal relations, in other words with social capital. The objective of this study is observing the influence of the social capital concept with its theories. Nowadays, with social networks emerged, information sharing type and the quality of information are being changed day by day. Social capital is defined as the sum of the existing potential source of social network relationships, derived from social network relationships which is is owned by individuals or units. Entrepreneurs become more productive and allows them privileged access to business opportunities and lead to increased innovation. Increases likelihood of repeated interactions among agents as it can increase reputation of an enterprise, foster better diffusion of information that makes behavior more foreseeable and reduces uncertainty, influence professional success; Although these studies have significantly furthered our understanding of the social capital–performance relationship by exploring mediators such as knowledge acquisition, relatively little is known about the mediating role of information sharing in the social capital–performance relationship. Additionally, social capital is defined as shared by members, individuals, teams, organizations, has a future and is productive fund. When an investment made to or establish the fund, it can lead leveraging the cost of activities for all contributors and facilitate the welfare. The main focus of this study is testing the observation of theoretical model for mediation role of knowledge sharing and orientation between social capital and firm performance. A survey-based study had established and depending hypothesis was tested with the model. White-collar workers in the telecommunications sector in Turkey is the scope of the research. Analysis conducted with data from 281 employees within this context; information on the relationship between social capital and the company's performance shows that assume the role of sharing through orientation.
