After development of classical capital comprehension, social capital definition with reviewing and analyzing in macro and micro level, has taken place in literature in recent past. In this study, social capital is studied in micro level such that analyzing the relationship between the people who works at the same place and calculating their social capital. Two aspects of social capital are focused: Bonding, homophilous social capital (BoSC), and Bridging, heterophilous social capital (BrSC). These two aspects diverge each other regarding to the social theories. Then the relation of social capital (BoSC/BrSC) with self leadership, trust and performance of each worker is analyzed. For this aim, two sample groups working at a defence company in Turkey have been chosen. First sample group (SST), 71 people who have been working together with a long time, has been chosen and been applied the questionnaire, 31 people have answered. The second group (UGES), 43 people who have been working together with a short time has been chosen and been applied the questionnaire, 30 people have answered. The Social Network Analysis (SNA) is applied to these two groups separately and compared them according to the SNA findings. After this analysis, for testing the significance of relations, correlation test and hierarchical regression tests are applied. In conclusion, it has been seen that the people who works in SST have higher level of BoSC, some people who works in UGES have higher level of BrSC. Indeed, higher levels of social capital positively associate with higher levels of confidence in actions of peers and management, which is the sub dimension of Interpersonal Trust. Also higher levels of social capital focused social relations positively associate with both higher levels of contextual performance.
