Abstract (EN)
Archetypes, which have equivalents in Turkish such as "main example", "first image", "principal sample", are common images that reflect the collective unconscious and are transferred from generation to generation. Archetypes, which are common images, are determined by literary scientists with the information obtained from different disciplines such as mythology, psychology and literature, and with the archetypal criticism method in literary works. This method emerged with the introduction of unconscious cognition by C.Gustav Jung. Our aim is to analyze the work with the archetypal criticism method we use in the analysis of literary works. We analyzed the stories of the Kyrgyz writers, which we discussed in this study, based on the archetypal criticism theory, through the "orphan archetype". It was made by taking into consideration that the authors of the works were orphans and the period when the work was written. While the stories we discussed describe important periods in Kyrgyz literature, they are also a criticism against oppression and the regime. The fact that the heroes in the stories are orphans and the living conditions of orphanhood constitute the subject of our study. The thesis work consists of three parts. In the introduction, a theoretical introduction to the subject has been made within the framework of the archetypal criticism theory. In the first chapter, the history of contemporary Kyrgyz storytelling is given and the development and subjects of the story are discussed. In the second part, there is an examination of our main subject within the framework of the 'orphan archetype'. The works were analyzed through the archetypal criticism method. After the inference was made, the bibliography was given.
