Abstract (EN)
In this study; performance characteristics and color fastnesses of fabrics fabricated in suprem and pique fabric from Ne24 yarns of 100% soybean protein fiber suitable for textile technology were investigated. Pre-finishing processes were applied to the produced fabric and the fabrics were dyed with reactive dyestuff. Selected fabric color fastness tests were carried out according to standards. At the end of the study, the color fastness properties of the textile product to be obtained from 100% soybean fiber are similar to those of cotton fabrics, and it is determined that the softness of fabric, abrasion resistance, explosion resistance, air permeability values are better than cotton fabrics and the pilling property is worse than cotton fabrics. In this study, it can be stated that the soybean can be used as a textile fiber easily.
