Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, yarns and single jersey knitted fabrics made from soybean fiber, an innovative regenerated vegetable protein fiber, and regenerated cellulose viscose fiber blended with polyester and r-PET fibers at various ratios were produced using Vortex and ring spinning technologies. Selected performance properties of these yarns and fabrics, as well as the fabric comfort parameters, were investigated. The fiber blends were 20/80% Soybean/r-PET, 20/80% Soybean/PES, 20/80% PES/r-PET, 100% PES, 20/80% Viscose/r-PET, 20/80% Viscose/PES. Yarn samples were analyzed for evenness, strength, hairiness, nep, thick, and thin places. Fabric comfort is determined through tests for air permeability, drape, water absorption, bending strength, bond water vapor permeability , and thermal resistance , performance analysis includes measurements for bursting strength, mass loss, and pilling distribution. Thermophysiological comfort is determined by tests for warmth, coldness, heat and mass transfer, water vapor permeability, and thermal resistance in fabrics. When the results of the tests conducted in the research were interpreted, there was a difference in thermal resistance and relative water vapor permeability depending on the life series. The relative water vapor permeability of soybean blend fabrics was found to be higher than that of viscose, and soybea fiber increased the thermal resistance of knitted fabrics, resulting in lower thermal conductivity. Vortex yarns were found to have lower pilling and air permeability advantages compared to ring-spun yarns, as well as better air permeability and improved thermal comfort.
