The working people spend most of their day time in the office buildings that respond most of their daily activities. Their design needs care because they have an important role in people's life. High-tech architecture that use today's technology and with its flexible spaces is an alternative current that responses the designner's questions. The high-tech office buildings are evaluated in this study. This study contains seven chapters. Introduction and general information on subject are provided in chapter I along with the reasons of selecting the subject General information on office buildings are staded in chapter n. The points need attention, various standarts and different approaches in different periods are provided here. Chapter m gives information on the exposition reasons and development of high-tech architecture. Chapter IV provides the main principals and characteristics of high-tech architecture. Typical high-tech samples are evaluated in. Chapter V. The world-wide known buildings with similarities are chosen according to their form and functions. Norman Foster and Richard Rogers are evaluated especially because of their contributions. The high office buildings applied in Turkey are studied in Chapter VI.There is not an exact sample of high-tech product present constructed in accordance with high-tech principals. Because of this only a general approach to office buildings in our country is provided and samples of recently constructed high buildings are given. The condusions from high-tech architecture samples and the Turkey applications are stated in chapter VII.
