Spinal anesthesia is a widely used anesthesia method in many centers. Hypotension developing after spinal anesthesia is very common, and anesthesia safety and patient comfort are compromised. Hypotension due to vasodilation after spinal anesthesia and cerebral deoxygenation are the most common side effects. Our aim with this study is to maintain hemodynamics and thus to provide cerebral oxygenation without overloading the patient with fluid, providing inotropic and vasopressor support. Although the passive leg lift test has not been shown to have a protective effect on blood pressure and heart rate, it has been shown to be effective in maintaining cerebral oxygenation. More studies are needed to evaluate the effect in surgeries performed with spinal anesthesia
