Spodumen (LiAlSi2O6), situated extensively in nature, having high luminescence intensity is a interesting mineral. Spodumen has a variety of colors which is colorless, pink(kunzite), lilac, green and yellow. Due to contained in impurities elements in terms of physics and chemical properties is important natural Stone. In this study, physical and structural properties of spodumene minerals were compared by using luminescence and other techniques. For this purpose, samples were determined contents by analysis of substance. Thermoluminescence (TL) spectra were taken in the temperature range 50-400oC and radyoluminescence (RL) spectra were taken between the 200-1000nm. In addition, optical absorption spectra were examined to investigate the optical laboratuar in the region of the electromagnetic spectrum visible to the near infrared region (200-2000 nm). Based on the obtained TL spectrum for all substance, by using different methods, (Initial Rise, Heating Rate, Chen and Computer glow curve deconvolution methods) kinetic parameters ( E, s and b values) were calculated.
