The investigation of organizational justice perceptions and organizational cynicism attitudes of the academic staff working in the faculty of sports sciences

The aim of this study is to examine the perceptions of organizational justice and organizational cynicism attitudes of the academic staff working in Sports Sciences Faculties according to the demographic variables and to investigate the relationship between them. The universe of the research consists of the academic staff working at the colleges/faculties/faculties of education providing sports education; The sample group consisted of 340 academic staff including 275 men and 65 women. The "Organizational Justice Scale", which was adapted to Turkish by Polat (2007), developed by Niehoff and Moorman (1993) to measure the organizational justice perceptions of the participants and the "Organizational Cynicism Scale" which was adapted to Turkish by Kalağan (2009), developed by Brandas, Dhalwadkar and Dean (1999) to measure their perceptions of organizational Justice were used in the study. Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, independent variables t-test, one way ANOVA, Tukey HSD test, pearson correlation analysis were applied to analyze the data, and the level of significance was taken as (p <0,05). The data were analyzed in computer environment SPSS statistical program. As a result of the study, the organizational justice point averages of the participants were found at the "moderate" level, and their organizational cynicism point averages were found at the "moderate" level. According to the result of the pearson correlation analysis, it was determined that the participants had a negative direction, strong and meaningful relationship between organizational justice perceptions and organizational cynicism attitudes.
