Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine risky behaviors (anti-social behavior, alcohol use, smoking, suicidal tendencies, eating habits, school dropout and substance use) in the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences within the scope of Eysenck Personality Theory. Relational scanning model was used in the research. 475 university students studying at Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Sports Sciences participated in the research. Data was collected online via Google Forms. Personal Information Form, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Revised Shortened Form and Risky Behavior Scale University Form were used as data collection tools. The data were analyzed with the IBM SPSS 22.0 package program. To determine the demographic information of the participants; Percentage, standard deviation and frequency calculations were made. Descriptive statistics were conducted to measure the risky behavior levels of the participants and to determine the dominant personality type. While Independent Sample T Test was used in the analysis of the gender variable, One-Way ANOVA test was used in the analysis of the variables of department, perceived income level, place of residence, mother and father's education level and number of siblings. Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlations between variables. As a result of the research, it was determined that the participants' extraversion and neuroticism levels were moderate, and their lying and psychoticism levels were low. It was also determined that the risky behaviors exhibited by the participants were at a low level. Significant differences were detected between the participants' personal characteristics, personality types and risky behaviors. It has also been observed that there are positive correlations between personality types and risky behaviors. The results were discussed within the framework of the literature and suggestions were given.
