Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the entrepreneurship levels and critical thinking tendencies of Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Sport Sciences students in terms of various variables. Scanning model was used in the research. The population of the research consists of 1098 students in total who are studying in the departments of Physical Education and Sports Teaching, Sports Management and Coaching Education of Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Sports Sciences in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample of the research consists of 586 students studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Yozgat Bozok University and participating in the research randomly and voluntarily. In addition to the personal information form prepared by the researcher in order to determine some demographic characteristics of the participants in the study, the "Entrepreneurship Scale" developed by Yılmaz and Sünbül and the "Critical Thinking Tendency Scale" developed by John Ricketts and adapted into Turkish by Demircioğlu (2012) were used. In statistical analysis, the data were analyzed using the SPSS 22 package program. While analyzing the data, firstly, exploratory factor analysis was conducted for the multidimensional critical thinking disposition. Afterwards, the descriptive statistics values of the scales were examined. As a result of the statistics obtained; the entrepreneurship levels and critical thinking dispositions of the participants did not differ significantly according to age and gender (P>0.05); It was observed that there were significant differences according to departments and classes (p=0.014, p<0.05).
