Summary determination of properties of leadership on the college students taking sports education

The phenomenon of leadership, in every environment of a society, because of the need for people who have the ability to motivate people and manipulate the common goals is important. Especially on the sports field, individuals may nominate, and the best way to achieve success in the performance of good leadership is needed. This research is made for the purposes of determining the leadership characteristics of college students' sports training area. The research was conducted primarily on the sports and leadership-related resource scan. The province of Ankara, in the aftermath of the 2012-2013 academic year sports training area has been obtained by applying to the data survey for university students. A total of 705 volunteer interns the information obtained were evaluated. Study findings of the evaluation, for statistical analysis, SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 17.0 is used. The evaluation of the work of the descriptive data statistical methods (number, percentage, mean, standard deviation) are used. As hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, t-test, a nova, has been made. In this study; the University students' sports education leadership features is being researched; students gender, school of education, section, class, their sports branch, duration of active sports, age range, where the family income level was important for the result of the research. As the result of the study, demographic variables in the college students having sports training, too much differences are not seen in leadership development, , differences. With this work; designated leadership levels of University students in sports training area, intervention of sports in order to improve these features several recommendations are presented. In addition, this study will also be important in terms of contributing to other work in this area. Key words: Sports, Leadership.
