Realisation of the objectives of the sports club level and the determination of the problem they faced against a scale development study

SUMMARY The aim of this research was to form a scale fro determining in the level of sport clubs realizing their goals and the difficulties they met. The domain of the resarch is consisted of 105 sports clubs which are chosen randomly among major cities such as Ankara, İstanbul, Bursa, Erzurum ve Antalya and 400 sports club directors from these sport clubs are included in research sample. The six of the research samples are not failed completely or accurately thus these six research samples did'nt taken to account. The tool of data collection used in the research was prepared upon inspecting sports literature and regulations of sports clubs, and also by interviewing sports authorities and club directors. Optimization of the tools are availably resulted in a scale of 38 items in total, with a breakdown of 8 items regarding personal and club affairs, 14 items regarding aims, and 16 items regarding problems. Analysis of the data was carried out using SPSS 16 statistics software and the following procedure was applied. - Frequency and percentage analysis has been conducted on the directors' personal findings and sports club qualities. The varimax transformation and the factor analysis with main components are done for the scales of level in which the sports clubs carry out their aims and the problems of the sports clubs. To determine the valitidy and reliability of material and sub dimension, Cronbach Alpha evaluation is done. According to the the results of resarch, two items from the scale of level in which the sport clubs reach their aims is omitted since they are under 0.40, and the scale is formed from 14 items as containing two main titles, as sport (7 items) and social and societal (7 items).Two items from the scale of determination of the problems of sport clubs are ommitted since they are under 0.40,and the scale is consiscal of 3 sub sections, including 16 items, related to financal problems of Federations ( 8 items ) and Legal Arrangement Lock of Attention (4 items ) and sport Elements (4 items ). The croncbach Alpha results for the subsections of the scale of level in the sport clubs carry out their aims are listed as,0.89 for sport aims and 0.82 for social and societal aims. The Crombach Alpha results are listed as 0.86 for federations, financial problems and legal arrangements, 0.77 for lack of attention and 0.73 for sport elements and related problems. For the subsections of the scale to determination of the problems of sport clubs In conclusion, it can be said that the validitiy and reliability of these two scales improved are accepted and they can be conducted in further studies.
