Özet (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between body composition parameters measured by bioimpedance analysis method and loading scores in athletes after acute loading. To this study, 111 female athletes whose age averages 18,79±1,25, weight averages 53,38±7,67 kg and height averages 164,68±5,22 cm and 105 male athletes whose age averages 19,09±1,30 weight averages 66,79±12,28 kg and heigt averages 176,28±6,62 chosen by random sample method from totally 216 athletes taking part in Ahi Evran University sports science faculty special talent test, were included. By using the Tanita MC-780 bioimpedance device, the athletes' lean mass, total muscle mass, total fat ratio, total body fluid, intracellular fluid, extracellular fluid, basal metabolic rate, obesity degree, waist-hip ratio, waist-height ratio, protein, mineral, physical survey, skeletal muscle and smooth muscle ratios were determined. According to the results of analysis of variance, highly level of significant differences were found between score levels in terms of fat mass% (p< 0.002), total fat ratio(p< 0.002), total body fluid% (p< 0.001) and total muscle mass % (p< 0.004) variables. According to Kruskal-Wallis H test results, a significant difference was found between score levels in terms of Total fat ratio kg variable (p=0.005). Significant difference was found between score levels in terms of mineral % variable (p=0.024). In conclusion; it is seen that athletes with high loading scores have better body composition in terms of total body fluid % and total muscle mass % variables compared to athletes with medium and low loading scores. Low body fat percentage, high lean mass, high muscle mass, high body water ratio increase the performance of athletes and positively affect their health.
