Abstract (EN)
Ankle inversion injuries are frequently encountered in Athletes and most time players go back to the Sport with some residual deficits in the ankle joint like instability and inefficient motor control of the foot-ankle segment (FAS). To prevent this kind of injury and to overcome residual symptoms assumed as risk factors for secondary injuries, some balance tests and electronic balance systems are used to improve motor control of the FAS. But while the functionality of the balance tests are discussed, the digital devices are not affordable for general usage. The Digital Biomechanical Test and Training Platform Device (DBTEPC) is a functional and an electronic device designed to monitor the motor control capacity of the FAS by measuring ankle response times during dynamic balance performance of the individuals on a balance board. The aim of the study is to reveal the design of DBTTPD and to assess the internal consistency of the measurements obtained from DBTTPD to determine the reliability of the device. Twenty amateur athletes (19.2 ± 1.1 years) participated in the study. Three measurement sessions were organized two days apart. In statistical analysis, the Interclass Correlation Analaysis was used for estimating the internal consistency of the measurements of the tree trials. For the best result of response time score, the Cronbach Alpha Coefficient (CAC) was 0.89 value and for the number of response movements, the CAC was 0.92 value. So the reliability of the device was determined as highly reliable.
