Abstract (EN)

The main aim of this study is to apply the "Sports Mental Toughness Questionnaire" (SMTQ) developed by Sheard, et al. The number of participating test subjects are 138 women, 219 men amounting to a total of 357 athletes. In order to generalise the age criteria they have been categorised into age groups: "13-16 year-olds (N: 142, : 15,80, sd: 2,52), 17-20 year-olds(N: 136, : 15,85, sd: 2,53), 21-24 year-olds (N: 47, : 16,17, sd: 2,24), 25 year-olds and above (N: 32, : 15,63, sd: 2,74) ".
